This original Art Deco diamond ring is beautifully set with a center diamond that is Old European Cut and is .42 ctw. It is graded by our GIA Graduate Gemologist to be I in color and SI1 in clarity. The gallery of this ring is octagon in shape and the center stone is surrounded by 12 brilliant cut round diamonds that are I-J in color and SI1-I1 in clarity. These diamonds are .50 ctw. This authentic vintage ring has milgrain details that were common for jewelry of that era. This ring is circa 1930-1935. The setting is made of platinum and is stamped '950'. The gallery measures 13.5mm by 13.5mm. The charm of this ring is its simple design as the center stone is bezel set in an octagon shape mounting with a halo of smaller diamonds arranged in an octagon shape also. The diamonds are the true stars of this piece and they definitely live up to the billing. A great fashion ring or unique engagement ring.
